The service

Khal Dbrookwood operates a community text-messaging service that relays SMS messages among members of opted-in groups and delivers community announcements from group administrators. The service is offered to members of our community as a communal courtesy.

Opting in

You join a group only at your own request, made to a group administrator in person, by phone, or in writing. Upon being added you receive a welcome message identifying the group and explaining how to leave.

Opting out

Reply STOP or #LEAVE to any group message to be removed from that group immediately. Reply HELP or #HELP for assistance, or contact us directly.

Message frequency and rates

Message frequency varies with group activity. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier and plan. We do not charge members for the service.

Acceptable use

Messages you send to a group are delivered to its members under your display name. You agree not to use the service for solicitation, harassment, or any unlawful purpose. Administrators may remove any member to protect the group.

Availability and liability

The service is provided as-is, without warranty. Delivery depends on mobile carriers and third-party providers, and we cannot guarantee that any message will be delivered or delivered promptly. Do not rely on the service for emergency communication.
